SYSTRA Ltd are immediately hiring for a Senior L&TD Business Partner to join our thriving Talent function and drive forward the Learning & Development agenda for the UK & Ireland. Learning and Talent development is at the very heart of our business which relies entirely on the excellence and continued growth of our people. The role can be based from any of our offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or York and benefits form the flexibility of our hybrid working approach.

 

 

Main Function of the Role:

 

To lead all aspects of L&TD across the SYSTRA Ltd. business in support of the business strategic objectives and aligned to the HR strategy.  Key elements include:

  • To develop and deliver an effective Learning and Talent Development provision to the business in support of the business strategic goals
  • Create learning interventions and effective solutions for the business in support of the annual People Plan
  • Improve and develop a broad range of Talent frameworks to support the business to successfully identify, develop and retain high potential colleagues in line with the wider Group requirements
  • Design and deliver a range of blended learning training packages, including Management and Leadership which is accessible to all
  • Take a lead role in developing a learning culture across the SYSTRA group, to ensure a robust, fit for purpose learning offering is in place to develop our talented workforce
  • Be creative in your approach to delivering the Learning & Development strategy, having an excellent understanding of the wide range of digital learning tools and ability to implement innovative workshops which engage colleagues
  • Support the development of our Early Career population including the development of effective Apprenticeship and Graduate programmes which embrace both technical and non-technical pathways
  • Effectively measure the success of all training and learning programmes to demonstrate their ROI

 

Experience Required:

 

  • Significant experience of working in a Lead role within L&D
  • Degree (or equivalent) qualified preferably in a HR related subject
  • Experience working in a complex organisation with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Infrastructure industry experience would be a bonus but not essential
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with excellent stakeholder engagement experience
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying and tailoring solutions from a short term and long term/strategic perspective
  • Exceptional organisational skills, ideally with a clear project management perspective
