Systra India's Infrastructure design vertical is the leading design team for metros in India, with 300 plus stations being designed currently. The team has designed over 500 kms of viaduct along with 60 kms of tunnels and 50 underground stations. We are also very proud to have designed the first monopile in India for the Mumbai Coastal project. We have the distinction of designing the fastest implemented metro project in the country with Lucknow and now have broken the record in Kanpur Metro. Apart from Indian projects the team also provides design services to projects as far as Philippines in the east to Columbia in the West.

Context

The Role

The candidate  shall be responsible for working on design and co-ordination of Metro stations and surrounding areas, Egress calculations, facade, etc.

Main Duties

  • Strong drawing and sketching skills and adept in concept development and visualization.
  • Examining the proposed building site and analyzing client's requirements
  • Discussing design ideas and creating designs/drawings for buildings in compliance with government regulations.
  • Conceptualizing and designing buildings of Architectural projects.
  • Designing and implementation of the project including user’s requirement and evolving work plan taking into consideration the technical and functional requirements.
  • Preparing Concept presentation.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
  • Creating designs and preparing drawings for buildings, specifying materials to be used and advising clients on procedures and costs
  • Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
  • Preparation of working drawings, detail drawings, architectural drawings, conceptual drawings, good for construction drawing, etc.
  • Monitor work schedules and progress of construction work.
  • Design related coordination.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Architecture
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Revit experience is must
  • Must be outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desired to excel; and the ability to lead others.
  • Must have strong time-management skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus and discipline
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, the Internet and computer aptitude
  • Completion capabilities of given tasks within given time/budget, maintaining proper quality control.
