SYSTRA are looking to expand our Signature Team in the UK, working on high profile infrastructure projects such as Crossrail and HS2, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.

 

We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in our Birmingham office, initially working as part of our Main Works Civils High Speed 2 project team, by aa Assistant Noise & Vibration Specialist to support the production and delivery of design.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

Main Duties

  • Working within an Environmental Specialist Service team
  • Focus on delivering technical advice and reporting to clients
  • Day-to-day client contact
  • Report writing and delivery of N&V assessments
  • Involvement with MWCC
  • Review of technical documents

 

Experience

  • Previous experience of Noise & Vibration contracts wouild be beneficial
  • Proven track record of delivering N&V services
  • Experience of noise modelling software packages
  • Undertaking N&V impact assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

 

Qualifications

  • Degree qualification (or equivalent) in acoustics or a relevant subject
  • Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA), or other relevant professional body

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Noise & Vibration/Acoustics Graduate to gain experience on large scale infrastructure engineering projects, working with a team of technical specialists.
