Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for Contract Management and takes care of the administration of the Contract and reports to the PM.
  • Develop, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal and industry standards. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for reviewing the Contractor’s interim payment certificates. Develop and implement the commercial and procurement strategy.
  • Responsible for reviewing the Contractor’s claims and managing and reporting upon variations. Evaluate market conditions and trends for informed decision-making.
  • Oversee cost control processes to keep projects within budget.
  • Address disputes and negotiate settlements when necessary.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the PM.
  • Responsible for managing and reporting programme and budget change
  • The Contracts Manager will provide oversight on all contractual and commercial matters relating to the design, construction and supply contracts, managing the procurement and budget control functions. The individual should be experienced in procurement under different forms of contract for major civil infrastructure and the Employer transit projects and be able to implement effective contract administration procedures and develop claims avoidance and mitigation strategies, as well as a sound understanding of insurances and bonds.


  • University degree (engineering faculty)
  • General overall experience (15) years
  • 7 years of professional experience in the same field (Rail Transit Projects).
  • 5 years of experience in management and implementation of similar transport infrastructure projects and in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication and management skills and capacity to negotiate and develop good.
  • FIDIC experience
  • fluent in English.
