Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the general consultant’s activities related to operation and maintenance of the high-speed line
  • Act as an Operation and Maintenance expert within the consultant team, advising about the Operability and Maintainability of sub-systems (E&M, Signaling, Track, Civil work, Rolling stock, Communication, External stake holders…).
  • Review operational and maintenance submissions of contractors
  • Review the operation and maintenance plans for the suitability of the system to passenger service
  • Manage relations with the O&M contractor and the interface with the construction contractor
  • Reporting during relevant design progress meeting notably related to compliance and deviation in the contract
  • Manage the pre-operation test activities and the prerequisites to revenue service
  • Set-up workshop and meetings with the contractors to highlight the gaps, to help in finding and challenge the solutions, and to ensure the timing and schedule of submissions

Requirements:

  • University degree (engineering faculty)
  • General overall experience (12) years
  • 7 years of professional experience in the same field (Rail Transit Projects).
  • 3 years of experience in management and implementation of  similar  transport infrastructure projects and in a similar position.
  • Experience working in a similar role on at least one HSR project.
  • Good communication and management skills and capacity to negotiate and develop good.
  • fluent in English.
