Project Manager (Bridges/Structures)

We are currently looking for a Project Manager (Bridges/Structures) for our Oxagon project to be based in NEOM. A new floating Industrial city named OXAGON, touted to be the "world's largest floating structure".  It will be built in the southwestern area of NEOM. Half of OXAGON will float on the Red Sea, which on average is 500 metres deep. 

The  Project Manager (Bridges/Structures) will have an in-depth knowledge of engineering management of large scale Site-wide Infrastructure and will be our point of contact with project stakeholders inside and outside Kingdom. You will be integral to helping execute existing work and developing new projects by assuring on schedule completion, within or below, budget and in accordance with our contractual obligations.

Responsible for managing multidiscipline infrastructure packages from concept design to issue for construction for Site-wide Infrastructure including roads, bridges, service tunnel and public realm, manage various size groups of designers and/or specialists, Identify resources and utilize in-house resources and mange outside kingdom works while ensure uniform and cohesion design.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the package design during the lifetime of the package until complete the deliverables in agreed time and cost.
• Provide leadership, coordination across Multidisciplinary teams, technical direction to design teams inside and outside kingdom and liaise closely with the client and the rest of Project stakeholders.
• The Senior manager shall be a prime point of contact for the aspects of project including Design proposals, data gathering, coordination and modifications.
• Responsible for maintaining design quality and project schedule, Preparing of Scope of Works documents for each design stage, and contract documentation for external consultants,
• Support the client with input to production of brief documents as required, maintaining high professional standards.

Person Specification

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer registration is required with active membership in a professional engineering society; PMP is desirable
• 15 years of related project execution and/or program management experience, in which 10+ years of experience in infrastructure work experience, including experience in design, Project management
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required
• Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignment
• Experience in major design build bridge projects; experience in the design and detailing of complex steel structures

The following attributes would be an advantage:

• Experience in design and construction engineering of cable stayed bridges
• Experience with advanced finite element modeling
• Experience with prestressed concrete design
• Experience with cast‐in‐place and precast segmental concrete design and construction
