GM - Business Development

Job Profile :-

  • Facilitating management in decision making of prospective bids in India & abroad.
  • Identifying and tracking of new business opportunities and market research for clear understanding for future business potential.
  • Following SYSTRA Red Book, preparation of Bids (Technical & Financial) and ensuring that highest marks is obtained in Technical Proposal on evaluation.
  • Identifying and setting up strategic partnerships, JV with a view to enhance Systra capability in various bids.
  • Attend Pre-bid/Post-bid meetings and negotiations.
  • Create/ update/ monitor potential client database and manage existing client base for repeat business and orders.
  • Preparation of MoU, Joint Venture Agreement etc.
  • Provide proactive marketing intelligence/ competition information to various business divisions.
  • Help business units in preparation of budget for new business & turnover, with a desired margin.
  • Responsible for co-ordination with all verticals heads in order to win new work.
  • Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly bid reports summarizing bidding status.
  • Write performance reviews and solve internal team issues.
  • Improve bid design and quality processes.
  • Coordinate activities of unit with other units or organizations.
  • Confer with higher levels of management.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head – Business Development 

 

Minimum Qualification :- 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering will be preferred. 
  • MBA/Post graduate diploma in management

 

Key Qualities and Experience:-

  • 15+ years’ relevant experience in the field of Business Development
  • Good understanding of the sector
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Strong team player
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through patience, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
