Business Context:

The HR Manager enables the business by ensuring all HR matters are dealt with professionally and timeously. He / she is an experienced HR professional who has a broad experience in various HR areas of expertise; helps to develop and implement better people management practices; supports the growth of the business through quality recruitment; shares the responsibility for the goals and target delivery, builds a valuable relationship with staff and manages HR requests and solutions to/from the business. The value added of the HR Manager is in understanding and delivering against the business needs of the internal clients, key employees, and business processes.

HR Manager Role Summary

The HR Manager leads and manages the people management related agenda for SYSTRA MVA in the China and Asia office. He/she is an intricate part of the team, sharing the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery, identifying and preparing development plans for the key employees and high potential employees, identifying employees ready for the promotion and recommends rotation of the best talent across different functions in the organization.

The HR Manager is a member of the SYSTRA MVA leadership team and actively supports discussions and transfers best HR and other business practices from different functions in the organization. The business partner takes a key role in the people management area and acts as the facilitator for the leadership team.

The HR Manager must ensure the following tasks are carried out within the defined Group HR operating process:

Main Responsibilities of the HR Manager:

  • Acts as a key point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes aligned to the SYSTRA Red Book
  • Manages business related HR Projects cross-functionally
  • Builds a strong business relationship with managers and staff
  • Communicates and networks with the SYSTRA HR Community and stakeholders
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes, and implements HR changes necessary to cover risks
  • Leads the recruitment and staffing strategy and ensures recruitment of key talent for the business
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Manages the headcount report
  • Ensures TalentPlace is updated, is responsible for the accurate data input in the HR information system and ensures personal data in HRIS is current and accurate.
  • Ensures training and professional membership administration activities, in line with government and other professional parties.
  • Provide monthly Compensation and Benefit support including payroll verification, OT checking, leave & attendance other fringe benefit admission and payroll management.
  • Provides counseling on HR policies and procedures.
  • Supports the management team in disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions

 

The HR Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer, SYSTRA MVA, and functionally reports to the International Human Resources Director. 

Profiles Requirements :

 

Education :     Graduate Diploma (University degree) in HR and /or CIPD qualified

 

Background: Relevant experience in HR Operations within engineering operations / transport consultancy environment
