DEPUTY RESIDENT ENGINEER

We are looking for a DEPUTY RESIDENT ENGINEER Supports the Resident Engineer in establishing and maintaining the contact with the Client, and in managing the relationship with ERC in order to take into account his requirements, but also to report regularly to the Client about the project status. Hierarchically attached to the Project Manager

The SYSTRA employee will be integrated into the offices of the integrated project teams located in Kombolcha

The main missions 

 

Technical \Construction requirement:

 

  • Follow-up the Change Requests;
  • Update the content and projected submission dates of the project deliverable list, and inform about any change with regard to the baseline;
  • Manage the internal and external communication, ensure that the communication tools are properly used, manage the meeting schedule and write up the minutes of meeting, prepare the monthly reports;
  • Define the document codification rules, identify the graphics standards and rules, implement the Electronic Document Management System, follow-up the deliverable submission and document status.

 

Follow-up and reporting activities:

 

  • The Deputy Resident Engineer reports directly to the Project Manager;
  • Coaches the meetings with the Client in the absence of the Project Manager;
  • Liaises with the Client for the feedback and necessary information on the main issues related with the Project;

 

Profile

  • Capability of managing a team
  • Ability to prepare reports, technical and schedule analysis;
  • Level: engineering degree.
  • Ability to synthesize, to communicate

  • Ability to open to the novelty and to adapt to context and change
  • Good knowledge of Office (word, excel, outlook, MS project, Visio.)
  • Good English skills (written and spoken)
