SYSTRA is looking to expand our Signature Team in the UK, working on high profile infrastructure projects such as TransPennine Route Upgrade and HS2, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.
We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in London, by recruiting an experienced Asset Information Assistant.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

The role
The Asset Information Coordinator Assistant will assist the Asset Information Co-ordinator in implementing the verification and validation processes to govern compliance by the wider OOC supply chain with respect to their assignment of the correct Unique Asset Identifiers for all assets on the OOC project.
The ALIM (was eB) system that has been procured as the Contractor’s Asset Information Management System (CAIMs) must be populated with circa millions of asset instances by numerous sub-contractors in the supply chain and once these schemas are configured in ALIM this role will provide the project and client the necessary assurance that UAID’s are correctly assigned and appropriately change controlled in that system on the OOC works. ALIM/eB operational skills are needed to carry out this role.
Main Duties
- Assist the AIC in Supporting and facilitating the delivery of Asset Information in accordance with the Works Information and Subcontractor Works Information requirements, enabling effective capture and storage of all Asset Information deliverables.
- Provide support, direction, guidance to all stakeholders to ensure the project information management and Asset Information requirements, processes, procedures, and systems are clearly understood and properly utilised by all.
- Review of Asset Data Quality Reports raising NCRs as required, ensuring subcontractors address all non-conformances
- Be a first point of contact to the Package Managers and Subcontractors for Asset Information queries, requests and educating them in the necessary processes and data provision templates
- Create and deliver ALIM training programme for users tailored for different audiences.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, reporting, and resolving ALIM and user issues.
- Develop identification and progress reporting metrics for supply chain performance audits.
- The jobholder must keep abreast of skills and knowledge within his/her professional discipline
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred; specific and relevant industry certification(s) in discipline or demonstrated current experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Proven experience of managing Asset Information in a large organisation or a large multi-disciplined project, with multiple stakeholder interests.
- Common Data Environments, Bentley products preferable
- Asset Registers, AIMs systems, Bentley eB/ALIM
- Data management and analysis, experience with Power BI preferable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Excel and SharePoint / Teams
- Database systems management and deployment
- Familiar with CAD Systems
- BIM working methodologies.
- Asset Information Management and identification knowledge
- Data handover procedures
- Inter system connectivity e.g. ALIM to ALIM
