SYSTRA is looking to expand our Signature Team in the UK, working on high profile infrastructure projects such as TransPennine Route Upgrade and HS2, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.

 

We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in London, by recruiting an experienced Asset Lifecycle Information Management (ALIM) Assistant.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

The role

 

The ALIM (Asset Lifecycle Information Management) Administrator Assistant is accountable for supporting the ALIM Administrator with the configuration, testing, deployment and management of the Bentley ALIM system (previously known as eB) throughout the project lifecycle.

 

The role of the ALIM Administrator Assistant is to support the ALIM Administrator and act as a SME (subject matter expert) of the ALIM system which entails system configuration, system testing, workflow creation, ensuring interface between systems and stakeholder access which will be carried out in accordance with documented policies, standards, and procedures.

 

The ALIM Administrator Assistant will help to create and produce both ad-hoc and regular  planned reports from ALIM which cover both Asset Data Progress and Data Quality within the system when required. 

 

Main Duties

 

  • Support the ALIM Administrator with developing, evolving, communicating and deploying the ALIM Asset Information software, creating/managing user groups and operating system processes in alignment with the project Asset Information Management Plan and all project stakeholder objectives
  • Ensure ALIM is configured, maintained and managed to the most recent instructed HS2 Asset Data Baseline
  • Collaborate with the ALIM Administrator and Bentley Systems to develop, test and release ALIM software to enable sub-contractors and other users to actively use the system for the provision of asset data as defined within the Works Information.
  • To administrate ALIM front end configuration and manage back-end queries and processes
  • Assist with creating and delivering ALIM training programmes for users tailored to different user groups
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, reporting and resolving ALIM and user issues and queries
  • Continually review ALIM, its processes and reports to ensure they are ‘fit for purpose’ throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and develop ALIM Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics for the project
  • To facilitate all ALIM interfaces with Client (including corporate and project specific representatives), Joint Venture (JV) Partners or Co-contractors, Contractors, Sub[1]contractors, Suppliers and any other third-party organisations participating on the Project
  • Produce reporting metrics for supply chain performance audits
  • Create and update dashboards and quality reports which will be used by BBVS, HS2 and sub-contractors to monitor the provision of Asset Information
  • Assist the ALIM Administrator with formulating and establishing project common codification strategy
  • Play a key role in the project data lake specification and deployment across project disciplines
  • The jobholder must keep abreast of skills and knowledge within his/her professional discipline

 

 

Experience

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred; specific and relevant industry certification(s) in discipline or demonstrated current experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Experience with Common Data Environments, Bentley products preferable
  • Asset Registers, AIMs systems, Bentley eB/ALIM
  • Data management and analysis, experience with Power BI preferable
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Excel and SharePoint / Teams
  • Database systems management and deployment
  • Programming experience
  • Geographical Information Systems for Asset identification
  • BIM working methodologies.
  • Asset Information Management and identification knowledge
  • Data handover procedures
  • Inter system connectivity e.g. ALIM to ALIM
