SYSTRA are looking to expand our Signature Team in the UK, working on high profile infrastructure projects such as Crossrail and HS2, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.


We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in London, by recruiting an experienced Digital Technical Administrator.


The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

The role


To support the Digital Field Manager with the administration of all project related digital field technology, supporting a major rail infrastructure project.


Main Duties


  • Ensure system status is monitored. Any issues to be resolved with the supplier’s nominated contact and tech support teams
  • Liaise with Project manager and engineers to lookahead and plan new users to be onboarded
  • Assist the Project in new users onboarding and track/record attendance
  • Set up new users on the systems, create accounts, work areas, permissions, groups
  • Assist the Digital Field Manager in production, deployment, and delivery of the Digital Field Systems
  • Assist the Digital Field Manager in production, deployment, and delivery of the Digital Field Systems training to all users and authoring of training material.
  • With assistance from the IMS team develop deploy and manage the production of Workflows, tasks, templates, forms
  • Assist the Digital File Manager, Information Manager and BIM Manager in developing and deploying the Data model
  • Assist the BIM Manager with the operation of the Digital Field Systems
  • Assist the Digital Field Manager to develop, implement and maintain reporting on KPIs for the Digital Field Systems
  • Monitor The subcontractors use of Digital Field tools to ensure compliance with the BBVS processes
  • Work with the Digital Field Manager to expand the capability of the systems for the benefit of the Project
  • Understand the requirements to level suitable for the role.
  • Support the Digital Field Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Digital Field System Governance and user compliance.
  • Assist the Information Manager in data conversion, extraction, storage
  • Assist BIM manager in feeding data into and extracting from the Digital Field tools platform(s)
  • Assist Develop API routines to link various platforms and systems that form the Project Common Data Environment





  • Substantial practical experience of Digital Administration in a relevant business environment, ideally in Construction or Engineering
  • Track record of providing digital system deployment and management
  • Supporting users in their digital tool usage.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Use of digital tools on a construction site.
  • Experience with Software for Document creation e.g Word
  • Experience with Software for Data manipulation e.g. Excel
  • Ideally have experience with EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems) and Common Data
