SYSTRA are looking to expand our Signature Team in the UK, working on high profile infrastructure projects such as Trans-Pennine Upgrade Project and HS2, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.


We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in London, initially working as part of our High Speed 2 Old Oak Common project team, by a Graduate Civil Engineer to support the design and build of the project.


The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

Main Duties


Working in collaboration with our designers and contract partners, the Graduate Civil Engineer will be involved in a variety of tasks such as:


  • Undertake design analysis and calculations.
  • Support sustainable and efficient design solutions to client requirements.
  • Support in the preparations of design information and models for BIM submissions.
  • Support the Production of reports and collation and integrated design solutions
  • Aid the production of design proposals that resolve client challenges
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
  • Demonstrate logical and methodical problem solving to the design, planning and organisation of a project
  • Implementation of CDM and design requirements





  • Degree qualified within a relevant field (Civil or Structural Engineering)
  • An understanding of Civil Engineering within Infrastructure projects
  • Ideally have an understanding of ProjectWise and Bentley Systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is required
