SYSTRA are looking to expand our Signature Team in the UK, working on high profile infrastructure projects such as Crossrail and HS2, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.
We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in London, by recruiting an experienced Interface Manager on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Civil Engineering/Rail Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

The role
To be responsible for engagement with multiple Subcontractors to ensure the interface management is understood and implemented from procurement through to end of pre-construction. Monitor performance of multiple Subcontractors against the Interface Management Plan.
Main Duties
The principle activities of the Interface Manager (Pre-Construction) will be:

•    Develop and maintain, Pre-Construction Interface Matrix and Pre-Construction Interface Register
•    Contribute to reviews and updates to the Contractor’s Interface Management Plan
•    Review question for Tenderers relating to interface management for each Subcontract works package and evaluate the tender returns
•    Brief Subcontractors, Client, Third Parties and the Project Team on pre-construction interface management 
•    Support subcontractor interface meetings to ensure actions and decisions are understood and recorded.
•    Monitor and report on performance and progress of subcontractor interface meetings and management deliverables 
•    Review Subcontractor’s interface management deliverables and compliance with the Contractor’s Interface Management Plan; 
•    Supports the Project Construction team to raise compliance or performance issues or risks with Subcontractors.

•    Degree qualified within a relevant Engineering discipline
•    Chartered Engineer (or working towards) and Membership of an appropriate professional institution, or equivalent experience.
•    experience including engineering roles on delivery of large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
•    A Site Engineering or Design Management background in multi-disciplinary work packages.
•    Ability to work with others in developing technical and logistics issues and proposals.
•    People management skills and strong communicator to collaborate effectively with the wider project team including Clients, Third Parties, Subcontractors and Contract Managers
•    Competent on MS Office and Document Management Systems (such as BC, eB and SharePoint)
