Learning and development is at the heart of growing our thriving teams at SYSTRA and, with this in mind, we are looking to expand our support in this area with the appointment of an L&D Specialist / Co-ordinator. Working with our L&D Business Partner you will facilitate and develop the continued improvement and rollout of our learning and development programme. The role will be based in our London office with a hybrid model allowing lots of flexibility to work partially from home.


Main Duties:

  • Support the L&D Business Partner to design and implement key L&D projects to drive value in support of the wider business objectives
  • Work closely with the L&D Business Partner and HR Business Partners to understand requirements of the business and the development of L&D programmes to improve the quality of people interventions
  • Role model and reinforce the embedding of a culture of learning within SYSTRA Ltd.
  • Provide support to prepare the yearly training budget and training calendar for SYSTRA Ltd.
  • Prepare training analysis and ensure adherence of training procedures in compliance with the SYSTRA Ltd training processes
  • Collate feedback to ascertain the effectiveness of training being delivered and advise on improvements where required
  • Facilitate external led training, engage with external suppliers and manage the invoice process in a timely fashion
  • In co-ordination with the HR Operations team, maintain accurate training records which reflect all L&D activity undertaken across the business
  • Provide agreed MI and metrics to support the L&D Business Partner and other key stakeholders requirements
  • Promote good working relationships with professional organisations, such as external training providers, professional engineering institutions colleges and universities


Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrable experience within learning and development from a complex organisation
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Tenacity, resilience and excellent organisational skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite with excellent English written and language skills
