SYSTRA are looking to expand our Signature Team in the UK, working on high profile infrastructure projects such as Transpennine Route Upgrade and HS2, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.

 

We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in London, by recruiting an experienced Project Controls Engineer.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience across the Project Controls function, taking a real interest and focus on Reporting and Data Analytics.

The role

 

Performance monitoring of subcontractors and progress against project milestones and agreed KPIs. Responsible for reporting and data management processes, overseeing and applying governance to the flows of data, and managing the process for data collation and verification with the supply chain.

 

Main Duties

 

 

•           Lead on reporting for certain areas of the project incorporating multiple work packages.

•           Lead data and information quality assurance across the project engaging with key stakeholders. Establishing and maintaining quality controls within the reporting discipline in the project team and its supply chain.

•           Lead and support the collation of subcontractor data to produce supply chain reports, dashboards, and analyses. Presenting detailed analysis and insightful reporting to senior stakeholders in the business.

•           Chair or attend work package meetings to ensure subcontractor reporting processes and outputs are fit for purpose and accurate respectively.

•           Review the project team and subcontractor data integrity, identify issues and generate corrective action plans.

•           Lead/support the development of reports/analyses and their submission to the client, project team and its supply chain via the appropriate document control process and the Power BI service.

•           Lead the integration of project controls disciplines to align data and information, generating integrated reports for the delivery teams.

•           Support continual improvement and innovation in project controls, particularly in the reporting discipline.

•           Engage with the Information Management team for the development of necessary project controls data tables and measures in the Project database.

•           Meet all deadlines regarding report submissions for both internal and external reporting. Ensuring that work is prioritised correctly so that target dates are met.

•           Support Project Controls Execution Plan reporting section updates.

 

Experience

 

 

•           Project Controls or Project Management Qualifications/Certifications

•           Highly Proficient in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint

•           Experience in project controls and reporting within large complex environments within the construction and engineering industry

•           Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey complex analyses in a simple manner

•           Ability to engage and form effective relationships with multiple stakeholders

•           Experience In Producing Project Dashboards and Reports

 

 

Desirable:

•           Power BI Certification

•           Excel Certification

•           Civil Engineering Degree

•           Power BI proficiency

•           Commercially aware, awareness of NEC3 contracts
