We’re looking for Entry Level Systems and Electrical Designers in our Systems and Electrical Engineering groups to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. 

 

As a SYSTRA US Entry Level Systems and Electrical Designer, you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support a variety of engineering tasks that will help you develop your technical, social and ethical skills
  • Participate in the day-to-day function and team interaction in the Electrical and Systems Engineering career path
  • Assist with project research, field work and preliminary design
  • Support preparation of final design plans
  • Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation
  • Complete training on assigned tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
  • EIT certification 
  • Demonstrated interest in electrical or systems engineering field
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors and managers
  • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology and tools
  • Drive and enthusiasm to complete assigned tasks and become a contributing member of our team
  • Ability to learn and adhere to workplace health, safety, drug/alcohol and harassment policies

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internships in Electrical or Systems Engineering and leadership involvement on campus
  • Experience with various electrical or systems engineering design programs and software

Salary:  $65,488-85,646, DOE
