We’re looking for a new Rail Systems Integration Engineer in our Systems Group to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. 

 

As a SYSTRA US Rail Systems Integration Engineer you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget.  The position is full time in Los Angeles.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop systems integration plans for projects in compliance with contract requirements
  • Manage interfaces between customer stakeholders, partners and suppliers and resolve all conflicts between interfaces
  • Develop requirements from references, standards, and certification inputs and ensure compatibility across all sub-systems
  • Collaborate with the project specialists to allocate transverse requirements
  • Define the system integration test strategy, supervise the system integration tests execution and follow up the open issues
  • Identify key project risks regarding the system engineering process, the interfaces and requirements and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience on rail systems integration projects
  • Systems integration skills with an overall understanding and experience at system level (rail systems, civil, operations)
  • Experience on commuter and subway rail integration projects and technically knowledgeable from design to commissioning
  • Well versed in interface management for Civil, Rolling Stock, Software-based systems, Signaling, Railway Communication, Electrification, Power Supply, and SCADA
  • Strong communication/social skills able to navigate between multiple stakeholders amidst difficult situations
  • Technical team leadership experience

  • Advanced degree(s)

Salary Range: $131,000-179,040
