Reporting to the Station & Building Lead, the Station Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of architectural production at passenger stations, technical buildings and maintenance and operations centers. He manages the offshore architectural production in Paris and coordinates the production of the subcontractor. He interfaces with the planning section for dynamic flow studies (DCA), intermodal spaces and the urban external designer.

Job Responsibilities


  • Validation/dissemination of input data for architecture with the support of the interfaces unit, and analysis of input data (passenger flow data in particular) and their transcription into usable data (space sizing);
  • Organize and coordinate project teams to carry out architectural projects;
  • Prepare, review and approve station layout plans with site conditions, land availability, building measurements, structures and property gates. Finalize the location of stations taking into account public use, significance and suitability of the site ;
  • Responsible for the production of functional station architecture;
    • Assists the client in the development of program elements;
    • Ensures the common base of hypothesis;
    • Ensures compliance with the program and the functional constraints of the ERP (public reception building) station: organization of volumes and traffic, location of premises;
    • Ensures sizing in "normal" operation and emergency situations based on traffic data;
    • Ensures the link with the station engineering professions: good integration of the various technical constraints and equipment (Civil Engineering, Electromechanics, ventilation, smoke extraction, etc.);
    • Verifies the best practices in terms of transport space planning;
    • Verifies the coherence of the studies of the different buildings;
  • If necessary, attends and leads station design and construction coordination meetings.


Qualifications sought


  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field;
  • Minimum 7 years experience in similar positions;
  • Master the use of computer design and understand Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Photoshop, - Architectural Desktop and other programs required for design and writing.
  • Knowledge of BIM
  • Knowledge of local codes 
  • Membership in a professional association of architects, an asset ;
  • Fluency in French (spoken, read and written);
  • Proficiency in English (spoken, read and written), an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Ability to work in a team in a multidisciplinary environment;
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills;
  • Ability to organize and plan one's work;
  • Methodical, rigorous and proactive;
  • Interest in acquiring, applying and transmitting new knowledge;
  • Creative and innovative.
