Brief description of the functions

  • Coordinate, develop, implement and continuously improve the process of opportunity assessment, bid preparation, bid post-evaluation and promote industry best practices within the company.
  • Manage the process by optimizing the collaboration of the submission team members, workload and requests to ensure the efficiency of the process and the quality of the final proposals.
  • Management of the CRM (Customer Relation Manager) commercial database
  • Support management in marketing and business development tasks.
  • Any other function related to your position that may be assigned to you to meet the company's organizational and business needs


Roles and responsibilities

  •  Identification and follow-up of business opportunities for SYSTRA Canada's 3 business units (Rolling Stock, Freight & Mining, Transit) through the research tools available on the market 
  • Implement (i) an efficient service offer production cycle management process in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and (ii) the various support measures necessary to adopt the new processes within the organization
  • Evaluate the possibilities and make recommendations regarding the go/no go process.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the client's needs and business context in order to deliver a bid that meets requirements,
  • Manage the entire process of preparing a service offer, including coordination, monitoring and delivery schedules,
  • Develop and implement standards and proposal templates. Maintain a database of project experience and tools that enable the preparation and delivery of quality proposals.
  • Be on the lookout for trends, development and best practices in the market in order to maintain an advantageous and competitive position, 
  • Work closely with the management team and the various departments involved within the company, ensuring that the activities monitored and measured are well communicated,
  • Support the management team and updating SYSTRA Canada's CRM database
  • Any other role or responsibility related to your position that may be assigned to you to meet the company's organizational and business needs.



  • Have at least 8 years' experience in a similar position
  • Confident and proactive person, able to interact at all professional levels;
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills in English and French;
  • Personal integrity, discretion and a strong customer service orientation;
  • Extremely well organized, with attention to detail and excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to track and manage multiple proposals simultaneously;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint, MS Outlook and Excel;
  • Motivated person who demonstrates an ability to take the initiative to manage activities in a fast-paced international context;
  • Collaborative spirit able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work occasionally in the evening or on weekends
