Core Responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities (purpose and objectives): Preparation of tender offers, formatting various documents and reports (support to the staff, and various departments).

 

Specific Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Format documents according to SYSTRA Canada standards (proposals, reports, CVs, project data sheets, presentations, organizational charts, and various other types of documents);
  • Modify and correct documents as needed in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint;
  • Create organizational charts and flowcharts, both corporate and technical;
  • Assist the Business Development department with marketing material;
  • Light translation as needed.

 

Internal and External Relationships:

  • Internal:  Communicate with SYSTRA Canada employees
  • External:  May occasionally communicate with partners in proposal preparation

 

 

Qualifications

Education: College diploma in a relevant discipline

 

Years of experience: A first relevant professional experience

 

Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Advance knowledge of formatting techniques such as styles and themes in MS Word;
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and working with .pdf documents;

 

Behavioural Skills:          

  • Excellent French and English language skills; translation skills are an asset;
  • Fluency in English (spoken, read and written). The successful candidate will work with colleagues based in other Canadian provinces and internationally.
  • Highly organized, able to meet tight deadlines and work independently, takes initiative;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Team player and works well under pressure;
  • Respects discretion and confidentiality.
