Role and responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the Project Management Expert Manager, the incumbent will have the

objective of building a project management office for our client and will be responsible for:

  • Support and advise management on project management
  • Design, develop and propose to management the appropriate strategies which will allow the establishment of a methodological benchmark and a framework for developing project management skills according to international standards
  • Research, recommend and implement best practices in project management.



Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or mechanical, electrical, civil or industrial engineering. Asset: Master's degree in project management, PMP certification

Years of experience: Min 8 years of experience in setting up the standards and procedures of a project management office / ‘PMO’. Experience in the field of transportation or construction (An asset)

Technical competencies:

  • Very good knowledge of project management concepts and standards, including those of the Project Management Institute (PMI);
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
  • French


Employment terms and conditions

Contract nature: Permanent with Systra Canada and contractual (12 to 18 months) with the client

Location: Montreal – Québec - Canada - Hybrid
