IT Support Technician (Temporary position)

CDI: Temporary position, 1 year with possibility of extention

Reports to: IT Director


Specific Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Solve technical issues and provide support to level 1 and 2 users;
  • Ensure hardware and software installation;
  • Configure hardware, carry out installations for users and conduct follow-up regarding hardware performance;
  • Assist in writing and updating IT-related documentation;
  • Update hardware and software inventory;
  • Participate in various IT projects as well as updating the IT infrastructure;
  • Staying up to date on technological developments related to the field;
  • All other job-related requests from the IT director.


Education (minimum and desired):

DEP in Information Technologies


Experience (minimum and desired):

  • 2 years’ experience in a technical support position;


Personal and Other Qualifications:

  • Customer service oriented and problems follow-ups;
  • Logical thinking and excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Very good knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Very good knowledge of the Office 2016 suite, Skype for Business and SharePoint Online
  • Can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good stress management, organized and professional.


Language Requirements:

Fully bilingual French/English (spoken and written)


We Are Offering:

  • Full time temporary position (37.5 hours / week) Monday to Friday;
  • Salary to be discussed.
