Main duties

The Role

Will assist Project Director and Deputy Project Director in the entire depot works and will closely coordinate with GC-Civil DMRC to review the overall depot plan prepared by the DDC keeping in mind the functionalities.

Main duties

  • Will review the design and drawings and approve any modifications in approved plans, drawings and methodology that may be necessitated to change in field conditions during construction. 

  • Review and approval of designs and drawings of temporary works and shifting of utilities during construction of the project. 

  • Supplement the details given in DPR or previously completed specifications - depots, workshops and storage areas.

  • Preparation of Tender documents and assistance for selection of DDC/Suppliers/ Contractors.

  • General methodology and allotment and allocation. 

  • Supervision and approval of the Contractor's performance of the work. 

  • Trial Runs, sub-system tests and Integration system tests. 

  • Preparation of manuals for construction, administration, operation and maintenance of Mumbai Metro. 

Experience

  • Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.

  • Overall 20 years of experience and 8 years experience in Metro systems.
