Job title: Deputy Project Manager

Reporting to: Project Manager

 

We have an immediate opening for a Deputy Project Manager (Railway and Signaling Systems) to be part of one of New York key projects in the CBTC market.

 

Job Description:

The position of Deputy Project Manager is to support our customer to develop the necessary tools and processes and coordinate the testing and commissioning activities for the delivery of the project by contractors.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage workload and resource allocation,
  • Budget follow up,
  • Assist Project Manager in dealing with changes of scope, cost and schedule of project works.
  • Assist Project Manager to conduct the staffing process, assessment of resources needs,
  • Coordinate T&C activities of the contractors in lab and in field through the different stages of the project
  • Participant in project performance review meetings and discussions,
  • Participant in corporate business development activities:

 

Qualifications and skills 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)
  • 10 years or more total experience with prior experience in project management and signaling project required.
  • Metro, CBTC experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Leaderships skills
  • Must be well organized
  • Good working knowledge of MS office packages
  • Ability to assume growing responsibilities
  • Fluent English
