Context

The Group SYSTRA is a leading transport engineering company strategically organized in Business Units (BUs) and Engineering Centers (ECs) located throughout the world. The design of complex and large-scale projects requires performant, continuous and competitive production schemes which involve several entities within the Group.
In this context, the department « International Production » (IPR) provides services to support the production for a seamless design compliant with our clients’ expectations. In this purpose, IPR is in continuous coordination with the operational entities and with the support functions of the Group. Being a dynamic, ambitious, and international team, we offer you more than just a planner role.

Main duties

Directly attached to the Director of IPR, the planning engineer is involved in multisite strategic projects. He/she is responsible for the production of planning at all stages of a project: from the design to the construction of the transport system.

The main missions are the following:

  • Design, implement and improve the planning of the project.
  • Propose planning versions in coordination with the internal and external stakeholders of the project.
  • Analyze and make best use of all data available to update and strengthen the planning.
  • Estimate the planning risks and opportunities and propose mitigation measures (clash detection).
  • Prepare and animate the planning review meetings.
  • Contribute to the project reporting, monitoring the progress according to the planning and updating the project’s KPIs (planned value, earned value...).
  • Contribute to defining the project planning strategy and thus, contribute to the project management strategy (contractual, technical…).

Degrees

Master degree / Engineer

Technical skills

  • Experience in the transport sector (intercity and urban systems).
  • Master planning tools (Primavera P6, Tilos, MS Project)
  • Requisite knowledge in international project management standards (i.e., PMI)
  • Master Microsoft Office softwares (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work on complex projects

  • Very good analytical and synthetical skills
