We’re looking for a new Proposal Manager to join our Marketing and Communications group to help drive the objectives and meet the challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them.
As a SYSTRA USA Proposal Manager, you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on schedule and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the successful development of compliant, competitive, cogent, and compelling proposals through effective collaboration across teams that include internal staff, business partners, consultants, and supporting vendors
- Lead and analyze RFI, RFQ, RFPs, and other bid documents for requirements and compliance
- Develop the proposal schedule, outline, compliance matrix and proposal development plan
- Prepare and lead efficient proposal kickoff meetings and status meetings, ensuring activities adhere to the proposal development plan
- Manage the development of oral presentations, discussions, and proposal revisions
- Take ownership of the quality of the proposal for color reviews and final delivery by performing rigorous quality assurance checks on draft and final documents
- Coordinate and support the production, reproduction, binding, and packaging in finalizing the proposal submission and response processes

Required Qualifications:
- BS, or other relevant four-year degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 10 years proven successful experience delivering proposals efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment on moderate to high-complexity federal opportunities for the A&E industry (transportation, mass transit and rail)
- Ability to:
- Work on multiple concurrent projects
- Work with various internal and external contributors and adapt to their working styles while meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to use standard English writing styles to write proposal qualifications and experience narratives, including performing research and synthesizing from multiple sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals) into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, PowerPoint software packages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree(s)
- Experience and knowledge of New York MTA C&D proposals procedure
- Ability to think strategically, plan and problem solve

Salary Range: $91,250-129,750
