Role:                   BIM/CADD Designer - Bentley Open Buildings Designer

 

Location:            Remote

                            

Reports To:        EVP – Chief Engineer

 

Travel:                15%

 

Education &

Experience:

 

             

  • CAD certificate from a certified program

 

  • BS in Structural/Civil or another relevant engineering field or working toward obtaining a degree

 

  • 2 or more years of CAD/BIM experience utilizing Open Buildings with similar responsibilities and discipline in buildings and facilities

 

  • E.I.T.

 

  • Competency in the use of the latest versions MicroStation

 

  • Proficiency in the following software programs: MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; and ability to quickly learn software programs

The Role

 

 

As a SYSTRA USA, BIM/CADD Designer you will partner with senior engineers/designers to acquire technical advice to prepare design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. You will assist with the design of transportation systems and structures, following construction, client, and government standards, using design software, and drawing tools. You will utilize your expertise in Bentley MicroStation Open Buildings for preparing design drawings. In addition, you will Manage drawing files. Print drawings using plotters and laser printers; Archive drawing prints and files; Assemble drawing submission packages; Assist with site investigations and walkdowns and analyzing and reviewing the design requirements to ensure match with customers' specifications.

 

Provide basic field inspection services as needed.
