We’re looking for a new Contracts and Risk Administrator in our Finance and Administration Group to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. 

 

As a SYSTRA US Contracts and Risk Administrator you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assure full compliance with all SYSTRA processes and policies in accordance with project/contract requirements
  • Assist in the proper execution of contracts and/or related agreements to support project managers
  • Collaborate with project team members, company departments, external stakeholders and clients to ensure your assigned projects remain on track and in compliance
  • Understand each element of your assigned contracts and ensure key contract elements are accurately documented, archived and maintained, executed subcontract(s), executed PSA and other agreements)
  • Establish that insurance has been properly requested where applicable; Initiate insurance policy renewals or extensions
  • Support assigned project manager(s) with documentation, monitoring, recording, reviewing, and responding to contractual communication with partners, clients and external stakeholders
  • Provide quality /safety plans via subs when requested by the contract
  • Work in close partnership with marketing to obtain teaming agreements and business partner due diligence in compliance with SYSTRA policies
  • Draft subcontracts and change orders
  • Support audit preparation, project reviews, claims management, and contract negotiations.
  • The associated multifaceted assignments require your strong time management, sound judgement, confidentiality, accuracy, and resourcefulness. In addition, your excellent verbal and technical writing skills will support you in this position

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess and use your outstanding organizational, reasoning and interpersonal communication abilities on a daily basis
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of prime contract administration experience
  • Candidate needs to have strong working knowledge of contract negotiation and management, of both Prime Federal Government and Commercial Subcontracts, including strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other FAR Supplements
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration
  • Contracting experience, including commercial, municipal or state government contracting

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree(s)
  • Background in engineering and construction contracting for local, state and federal transportation entities

Salary Range:  $99,600-139,439 DOE
