Role:                    Senior Contract Administrator – Design/Build

Location:            Remote US (NY/NJ Preferred)

Reports To:        Director, Contracts and Technical Services

                            Assigned Project Manager(s)

Travel:                20% (US Major Metro Areas)

Education:         Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Design/Build preferred)

                            Technical school training or equivalent work experience considered

Certifications:    PMP Project Management Professional (Preferred)

                             DBIA Design-Build Professional (Preferred)

                             CCM Certified Construction Manager (Preferred)

Experience:        10+

 

As a SYSTRA USA Senior Contract Administrator – Design/Build, you will bring your extensive contract management experience in public/private sector transportation to our high-performing project teams who plan, design, and provide testing and commissioning support for electrified railroad and other mass transportation projects. Your role will involve assuring full compliance with all SYSTRA USA processes and policies in accordance with project/contract requirements.  In addition, you will assist in the proper execution of contracts and/or related agreements to support Project Managers.

You will collaborate with project team members, company departments, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure your assigned projects remain on track and in compliance.  In this role, you will thoroughly understand each element of your assigned contracts; Ensure key contract elements are accurately documented, archived, and maintained, (executed subcontract(s), executed PSA, and other agreements); Establish that insurance has been properly requested where applicable; Initiate insurance policy renewals or extensions; Support assigned Project Manager(s) with documentation, monitoring, recording, reviewing, and responding to contractual communication with partners, clients and external stakeholders; Provide quality /safety plans via subs when requested by the contract. During the contract development phase, work in close partnership with marketing to obtain teaming agreements and business partner due diligence in compliance with SYSTRA USA policies; Draft subcontracts and change orders; Support audit preparation, project reviews, claims management, and contract negotiations.

In this role, your outstanding organizational, reasoning, and interpersonal communication abilities will be exhibited daily. The associated multifaceted assignments require your strong time management, sound judgement, confidentiality, accuracy, and resourcefulness. In addition, your excellent verbal and technical writing skills will support you in this position.
