We are currently seeking a Track Engineer to join our team here in Saudi Arabia. The location for these projects  may be Majmah, Qassim, Hail, Jauf or Qurayyat therefore we are considering candidates who are open to relocate to these cities/hubs. 

 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Controlling the implementation of track alignment, track and turnout installations, executed and supervised by others.
  • Surveying construction works, e.g. rail welding and installation of track works, in regards to relevant maintenance and operation rules, procedures and instructions (specifications, quality standards, quantity measurements, train safety, construction methodology and risk control.
  • Monitoring selection of track materials and reviewing track implementation methods as well as works instructions.
  • Providing technical guidance and supervision to the PMT (Project Management Team).
  • Attending meetings with Discipline Leader, Senior Track Work Engineer and construction personnel.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Interface management between Client/Design-Builder and Construction Manager

 

Key Skills/Experience

  • At least 10 years' experience as railway engineer, minimum 5 years' experience in track work assignments.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Expert knowledge about track alignment is mandatory, experience in track installation
  • International work experience
  • Excellent English skills
  • Willingness to relocate to the above mentioned locations 
  • Ability of working under extreme climate conditions
