role summary

Reporting into the Head of People & Culture for the GO Expansion Program Delivery Team, the role requires a DE&I expert with the ability to engage, empower and work with employees from all backgrounds to establish a truly diverse, equitable and inclusive team. Working within the People & Culture team, the DE&I Lead will develop and implement initiatives to drive enhancements in relation to recruitment, career progression, well-being and representation on the team


Core Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) subject matter expertise to the organization.  
  • Create a DE&I Strategy for the GO Expansion Program Delivery Team (PDT). 
  • Partner with the Heads and Leads to embed DE&I into all company processes and procedures. 
  • Research, develop and promote new ways of working to make diversity equity and inclusion integral to business performance DE&I 
  • Coach and upskill management and colleagues on the value of DE&I. 
  • Stay abreast of the market and external trends in relation to DE&I matters and share best practice in support of DE&I priorities. 
  • Partner with the Capability, Knowledge & Skills Transfer team to design and develop DE&I programs and training. 
  • Partner with and guide the recruitment team to support the hiring of diverse applicants. 
  • Develop the GO Program Delivery Team DE&I policies and procedures 
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the GO PDT to raise the knowledge, expertise and skill levels of colleagues and act as a role model for DE&I practices  
  • Analyze and report on demographic DE&I trends and identify areas for continuous enhancement. 



Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or related field   

Years of experience: 12+

 Human Resources Professional Designation, or subject matter expertise certification an asset   

Technical Competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams.   
  • Proven track record of implementing DE&I programs and initiatives.   
  • Experience in organizational change management.    
  • Experience in hyper-growth organization an asset.   
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating training sessions and webinars
