Role Summary

  • Understanding overall project process in line with GO Expansion (Program Control Centre) from design through to handover 
  • Awareness of current methodologies & tools to manage / analyse cost  
  • Identification and Capture of Innovation associated with the MCS Service delivery, methods of construction and systems through the delivery supply chain  
  • Mapping and calculating value & benefits to the Go Expansion Program  
  • Regular reporting updates relating to Innovations and outputs / successes  
  • Good attention to detail & able to validate, draft (as required) & check cost management reports produced 
  • Coordinating methodology and innovation initiatives across multiple stakeholders in the GO Expansion program for development and evaluation of value and benefits.  
  • Developing a program wide process for Innovation management, value analysis, approval and deployment into the construction practices and methodology used through the delivery supply chain.  



Education: Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Programme, Project or Commercial Management disciplines  

In addition to mandatory training courses:  

  • Have registered on and are working towards professional qualification (e.g. APM, PMI, IRM, IEMA) 

Technical Competencies:

  • Development of a key understanding for the overall project lifecycle in line with GO Expansion program from design through to handover   
  • Demonstrates a leadership understanding of principles of cost management including estimating; value for money; controlling of costs; baseline management; forecasting; performance measurement and change control  
  • Senior manager level expertise in cost and commercial management linked to Innovations and modern methods of construction 
  • Membership of professional institute  
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles an asset.
