Key Accountabilities & Responsibility

 

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to the Risk and mitigation action owners and Risk Management team, in effectively planning, monitoring, and reporting risk mitigation actions. Responsibilities and tasks include:

 

  • Collaborating with the Risk Lead to prioritize and plan communication with risk and action owners based on criticality, priority, and reporting timing requirements.
  • Reviewing the Risk Management plans, procedures, and templates, and adhering to the requirements to maintain a consistent approach throughout the process.
  • Collaborating with the Risk and Mitigation Action owners to develop, implement, monitor, score, and report risk response plans.
  • Assisting in managing Program Level risks, including accurately assessing cost and schedule impacts, and ensuring risks are correctly assigned to the appropriate senior representative.
  • Support the Program Risk team efforts by conducting monthly reviews of program-level risks and mitigation actions.
  • Assisting senior-level representatives with risk and mitigation actions identification and management.
  • Supporting the Risk management team by providing inputs to ongoing Risk reporting using proper formats and templates as per defined Plans and processes.
  • Managing, fostering, and maintaining senior-level client relationships.
  • Identifying and escalating Program level risks and issues that impact delivery.
  • Evaluating and contributing to the establishment of best practice Program risk policies, processes, and procedures in alignment with the agreed Program delivery approach, under the guidance of the Program Risk Lead.
  • Promoting collaboration and building relationships

 

Technical Management Expertise 

 

  • Ability to identify & analyze Project, Program and Business risks.
  • Detailed understanding of construction technology, planning, delivery, and site logistics.
  • Detailed understanding of commercial approaches
  • Adept at monitoring and reporting Program-level progress and assure efficient and effective use of resources across the program.
  • Understanding of various Contract, Commercial and Governance procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of accurate data and reporting both internal and external.
  • Recognizes opportunities for innovation or improvements on existing working practices.

  • Awareness of safety issues in an operational / project delivery environment.
  • High level of knowledge and understanding relating to contractual issues in a project environment.
  • Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Program, Project, or Commercial Management disciplines.
