The Head of Information Management solutions is a new and exciting role required to support SYSTRA’s continued growth and drive excellence across our digital services and project delivery.  This role focuses on the digital services and solutions required to deliver our projects and provide digital solutions to bring efficiencies and competitive advantage to SYSTRA. The role can be based from any of our key UK offices with the added flexibility of hybrid working.

 

The Head of IM Solutions will provide leadership and direction to projects to advise and establish digital solutions relating to CDE, GIS, AIMS as well as integration of technologies required to deliver projects. It will manage and access data and information to provide dashboarding and reporting that is appropriate and easy to consume, developing a solutions strategy and wider business plan.

 

MAIN DUTIES:

 

  • Management of IM processes interfacing with the central IMS and other process holders to ensure the business is compliant to ISO 19650 and across our projects. 
  • Use cutting edge technology and lead the advancement of IM solutions in engineering and construction.   Providing thought leadership to further elevate SYSTRA’s profile externally.
  • Work closely with the group digital leads to develop a fully connected team, utilising group expertise and coordinate UK-IRE initiatives to enhance overall digital capabilities and services.   
  • Identify and advise on digital M&A, partnering and investment opportunities in businesses, technology and services that align to, enhance and expand SYSTRA’s own capabilities and services.
  • Be a subject matter expert support to the Engineering director on all matter relating to Information Management.
  • Organisational support on Information Management policy &, strategy,
  • Review, update and creation of IM process and best practice.
  • Management and support to SYSTRAs ISO19650 accreditation.
  • Information Management point of contact and support to SYSTRA Group IM.
  • Manage project work streams, from solution design and activity planning to successful delivery.
  • Continuous development of digital and information consulting services and sector-specific offerings
  • Team leadership and supporting the ‘on-project’ development of team members’ skills and capabilities
  • Develop a growth and opportunity strategy with support from the Sales and Technical director.  Identify IM Solutions opportunities and develop client relationships
  • Work with SYSTRA bid teams and external partners to secure IM opportunities for IM solutions and the wider SYSTRA organisation.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Ideally Degree Qualified
  • Ideally Chartered Professional - Membership of professional institute with accreditation or certification to recognised bodies
  • Extensive track record in delivering digital solutions, establishing strategic plans and delivering business change
  • Strong leadership and strategy development experience in the IM space
  • Knowledge of Network Rail and/or HS2 digital systems and solutions
  • Knowledge of BIM and collaboration tools
  • Integrity and high professional standards in line with the Engineering council Charted Engineer attributes
  • Exhibit a zero-tolerance approach to unprofessional, unethical or unsafe behaviours
  • Experience of collaborative working relationships
