This is an exciting opportunity to join Systra as an apprentice. You will be part of the important design team, responsible for producing CAD drawings in 2D and 3D for large projects across the UK. Based out of our Birmingham office, this work is vital to keep these projects moving and see construction happen. For the right person, this is the perfect opportunity to develop skills in design and drawing techniques.


Main duties include, but not limited to:

  • To work effectively and contribute to engineering solutions independently and as a team, correctly using resources and time. This includes an understanding of project management systems, and the tools and techniques that are applied to the design and construction process
  • Support production of engineering deliverables using relevant design software and tools
  • Execute tasks to quality standards, to time and to budget
  • Record and present information clearly


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Digital engineering technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • At the end of the apprenticeship, you will be required to complete an end point assessment
  • Following on from this, you may progress to the Higher Apprenticeship in Construction Management
  • To be based form our York or Birmingham office
