ERP Solution Manager – IFS

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ERP Solutions Manager to join our SYSTRA Business Systems Team delivering continuous improvement to the IFS10 system.  With the opportunity to be based from any of our UK & Ireland offices, benefitting from our hybrid working approach, this role offers flexibility whilst still being an integral member of a team working on challenging projects and providing innovative solutions.

Working within the Business System team, this role supports the UK & Ireland ERP platform covering Project Management, Finance, HCM, CRM and Procurement. The role will interface with our internal business stakeholders, understanding functional requirements and working with our IFS10 technical expert to deliver the relevant changes and improvements to the system’s performance.

The ERP Solutions Analyst will be part of a team accountable for development of technical artefacts to support the business-as-usual functionality of the platform and improvement projects to expand the solution.

 

Main Duties:

  • Reporting to the Systems Architect, you will work with key business subject matter experts (SMEs) to influence how business processes are developed and implement changes to the IFSV10 solution to reflect this.
  • Support and deliver reporting requirements and customisations within IFS10.
  • Ensure all developments are tested and validated with stakeholders prior to deployment.
  • Develop training material.
  • Ensure functional documentation is completed to the required standard.
  • Ensure our change management process is followed.
  • Ensure testing risks and issues represented at meetings are escalated appropriately.
  • Manage a team of two personnel to deliver the improvements to the solution and day to day solution maintenance 
  • Report and address process issues, potential change requests and deliver impact assessments as required
  • Manage governance – ensure that all allocated activities and documentation adhere to project governance quality requirements and are submitted by the communicated deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to project values, policies, processes and system architecture to deliver to scope on time and to budget
  • Maintain and support business processes including 2nd line support of tickets

Experience Required:

  • This role requires considerable professional experience of IFS enterprise resource planning software, from end user through to system admin.  Experience of IFS10 essential.
  • The ability to be able to design customisations within the IFS Enterprise Explorer and Aurena interfaces.
  • Extensive experience of managing business change.
  • IFS Functional expert in at least one and detailed knowledge of two of the following areas:
    • Projects
    • SCM
    • Finance
    • CRM
    • HCM
  • Experience of supporting end users with functional queries
  • Experience of creating specifications of IFS CRIM’s
  • Undertake requirement capture and documentation.
  • Experience of managing third party suppliers.
  • Excellent ability to deliver in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present both at a technical and non-technical level.

Desirable:

  • Certification or able to demonstrate through experience Project Method methodologies (essential)
  • Able to undertake overseas assignments where required
  • Line management responsibility
