We are currently recruiting for a HR Benefits & Visa Advisor to be based at our York office with hybrid working. In this role you will be responsible for developing and administering the Company’s benefits offering, including supporting colleagues through the UK Visas & Immigration process.

The role will be responsible for monitoring and updating our benefits portal, ensuring information is in line with business-as-usual changes. Using the portal’s monthly reports, you will ensure any resulting action with our benefits partners are completed. The provision of detailed analysis of benefits usage and developing our benefits portfolio going forward will be core to this role, along with responding to all colleague queries received through the HR benefits inbox.

The role will also take responsibility for supporting international movement across the Group with SYSTRA Ltd and vice versa. A key element of this is to provide support with regards to Visa requirements. The role will be responsible for advising and processing these requirements, supporting colleagues through their applications and ensuring the Company complies with latest Home Office regulations.

Main Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance of the Company benefits portal
  • Actioning benefits within the annual reward cycle
  • Exporting and interpreting reports from the Company benefits portal
  • Development of the benefits portfolio
  • Promoting the benefits portal and key target times for colleague action
  • First line response to any benefits queries
  • Advising on and processing Visa requirements
  • Ensuring the Company remains compliant with Home Office requirements
  • Monitoring Visa expiry dates and costs

 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

 

  • Previous experience in a reward role
  • Experience of reward activities and production of TRS
  • General understanding of HR systems and, ideally, a benefits/reward portal
  • Used to working closely with HR and Payroll teams
  • Able to interpret reports and provide analysis
  • Robust working knowledge of Visa processing and requirements
  • Experience of the UK Visas & Immigration SMS
  • Advanced user of business systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Used to working with databases, trackers and electronic files
  • Work accurately, with attention to detail
  • A strong communicator – both written and verbal
  • Used to organising your own time and working to deadlines
