Main Function of Job

 

We currently have an opportunity for an IT Project Administrator to join our ICT team, supporting delivery of our key IT infrastructure projects.

 

You will have strong technical and project management experience in a similar organisation.

 

Main Duties

  • Reporting to the IT Project Manager UK/IR, as ICT Project Administrator, you will provide IT project support across SYSTRA’s UK and Ireland offices.
  • Working closely with the IT Project Manager, you will maintain project plans, assist with project scoping, and liaise with key project stakeholders across the business to ensure on-time and to-budget delivery of key IT infrastructure projects.
  • You will be involved in the management and technical rollout of projects including provisioning, decommissioning, installation/configuration of hardware, operation and maintenance of systems, hardware, software and related infrastructure.
  • You will provide regular reporting of project progress to senior management and will work in close partnership with the IT Project Manager.

Essential

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ideally experience of MS Project or similar
  • Project Management or IT Management qualifications desirable (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2, APM)
  • Very high attention to detail & persistence
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft IT infrastructure desirable
  • Ability to assess business requirements and translate them into IT needs
  • Previous experience in IT
  • Degree or equivalent in relevant IT-related subject
  • Desire to maintain IT technical skills and project management skills at the highest level.
