We have a great opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Administration Assistant to join us on a part time basis (25 hours per week) in either the York, Leeds, London or Woking offices on a hybrid basis. In this role you will provide administration support to facilitate the efficient operation of our Marketing and Communications (Marcomms) team. This will involve helping to keep the marketing plan up to date, raising purchase orders on our finance system and keeping the budget tracker updated. From time to time, there may be the opportunity to get involved with marketing projects to support the team.


  • Managing suppliers and purchasing for the Marcomms Team
  • Setting up new suppliers on the purchasing system
  • Raising purchase orders on the purchasing system
  • Receiving invoices and liaising with our the finance team to ensure payment is made as required.
  • To assist with Marcomms planning and implementation – keeping the plan up to date and recording activities completed
  • Assist with updates to our company Intranet
  • Respond to daily inquiries internally and from our website
  • Assist the wider team with other tasks from time to time

Knowledge & skills

  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams)
  • Ability to learn new computer systems (full training will be provided)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
  • Be able to prioritise effectively
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
