Due to our continued growth, we have a great opportunity for a Systems and Data Officer who will work within our HR team. You will be responsible for the quality of HR systems data and production of HR metrics and reports. In this role you will develop and produce standard monthly reports for HR and the wider business, as well as respond to ad hoc requirements for data requests.

Data presentation and analysis are key elements of the role and you will monitor and perform regular audits of data across our systems to ensure all input meets required standards and that data is aligned.

 

The role is based from our York office but with extensive flexibility for home working.

 

Main Duties:

  • Maintenance of data in HR systems
  • Providing regular metrics for HR and wider business
  • Review and develop metrics packs to ensure data meets changing business requirements
  • Review and process reports to provide detailed information at all levels
  • Interpret complex data and track trends
  • Produce ad hoc reports for HR and wider business
  • Support audit activities
  • Work closely with HRBPs, providing data to assist them in their day to day operations
  • Updating and editing complex excel spreadsheets
  • Support annual data updates, e.g. pay review, bonus
  • Ad-hoc system updates and data requests as required

 

 

Essential Experience:

 

  • Experienced in using HR Information Systems
  • Used to working closely with HR and Payroll teams to maintain data accuracy
  • Able to produce and present key metrics that are detailed, yet clear
  • Advanced user of business systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Used to working with databases, trackers, and electronic files
  • Work accurately, with attention to detail
  • A strong communicator – both written and verbal
  • Used to organising your own time and working to deadlines
  • Flexible with the ability to juggle tasks
  • Used to working with sensitive data and the guidelines that support this
  • A team player who enjoys working closely with and supporting their colleagues
