In India, we have been providing design and construction supervision services for various National highways, State Highways/PWD and other road projects for various government institutions and private organizations since 1982.Our design teams are have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes as the design centre in India has delivered projects across the world. We are also conversant with BIM (Building Information Modelling) which enhances all stages of the infrastructure life cycle, from design to construction and maintenance, which is why we integrate it into our projects and offer it to our clients. Our design and supervision teams have extensive exposure to both domestic and international markets, contracts, codes and specification.

Main Duties:

• Geometric Design of Highways using Open Roads software.

• Engaging with the client and work winning.

• Management of production team and interface issues.

• Production of engineering design and details in accordance with project requirements.

• Preparation of calculations, written reports and checking of drawings.

• Preparation of feasibility studies, preliminary through to detailed design for road and rail infrastructure.

• Maintain Designers Risk Assessments in accordance with CDM regulations.

• Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO Standards.

Qualification & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree /Master Degree or equivalent in Civil or Transpiration Engineering.

• 5+ years’ experience of highway design is required  .

• Good knowledge of  overall highway design element and construction and maintenance methods.

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCad Civil 3D, MS Office Suite, MicroStation, ProjectWise, Bentley Design Software especially Open Road Designer in adherence to other appropriate design concepts.

• Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches and from 3D model to full working drawings and Quantity computation.

• Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.

• Solid verbal and written presentation skills. Outstanding organizational abilities and technical mindset. Fluent English; good command of technical terms.

• Knowledge of various international standards ( AASHTO, UK standard, Abu Dhabi Standards, India Road Standards) will be preferable.

• High ethical standards, honesty, and impeccable reputation.

• Resilient to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work under pressure.

• Able to benchmark and apply best practices of large infrastructure projects. Strives for continuous improvement and precision in every detail.
