Reporting directly to the Global Director HR Operations, the Group Sourcing Manager will partner closely with our business and their local HR & Recruitment teams to deploy the sourcing strategy for the way SYSTRA attracts, source & hires top technical talent across transport infrastructures and systems

As a key contributor to building a Systra global Sourcing Centre of Excellence, you will act as an owner for insight led sourcing delivery and the growth and further development of our Talent sourcing value proposition across the Group.

Main duties


Responsibilities includes some of the following

You will co-create the global sourcing strategy and the: “ what, who, when,  where and why” of sourcing & candidate generation,  as well as with your team build  future Talent Pipelines with a specific focus on Technical profiles.


Sourcing excellence:

  • You establish strong relationships with local Recruiting & Staffing Leads, Hiring Managers & HR teams to understand their business and external hiring needs
  • Drive sourcing excellence, standardization and improvement of our processes. Lead key sourcing projects and initiatives across multiple regions: MEA, EMEA, North America, APAC
  • Managing a Sourcing team located in India and Dubai, you will ensure robust Talent pipelines are generated for our Regions and BU’s: identifying and attracting passive technical senior-level talent in the transport infrastructures and systems
  • Develop comprehensive talent mapping and pipeline projects, both internally and externally and via best-in-class direct sourcing and candidate generation techniques identify technical senior-level talent in the transport infrastructures and system, ranging from Systems Engineers & Technical Directors, Engineering Managers, Civil Engineers, and Project Managers. 
  • Put operational systems and efficient, inclusive ways of working in place so we’re capable of scaling to a substantially larger capacity across the Group


Management:  Coach, advise and develop a 3 x HC Sourcing team as they partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand hiring needs. As manager you’ll provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the Sourcing team.


Data & Metrics: Ground decision-making in analysis and data to help build effective solutions, measure quality, and influence. Analyse historical data to detect trends, insights, and adjust strategies to optimize hiring impact. Manage and improve reports that track results, impact, and cost-effectiveness

Technical skills


We are looking for an established Recruitment & Sourcing professional, with a proven track record of leading recruitment & sourcing teams focused on complex technical & engineering sourcing projects. 

Previous team leadership experience of large recruitment delivery or sourcing teams across engineering/ technology sectors with a clear focus on talent acquisition, sourcing and candidate attraction methods.  Remote management experience is a major plus.

  •  Experience of implementing and leading dynamic sourcing solutions with a focus on data driven sourcing excellence and candidate engagement / attraction. You should have exposure to having Implement targeted sourcing strategies for multiple openings, including candidate identification, assessment, development, hiring recommendations, and executive referrals
  •  Experience of developing and delivering sourcing strategies and processes to improve outcomes (e.g. applicant conversion rates, time to hire, talent pools and N° of sourced Hires) and articulating performance against SLA’s and KPI’s 
  •  Experience using Industry Leading sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter) and applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors/ CRM) to identify and engage passive, qualified candidates
