MISSIONS:

SYSTRA is looking for a Ticketing Technical Lead to provide technical consultancy services for a Client implementing a migration from Card Based Ticketing System to Account Based Ticketing System across multiple transportation systems (including a backward compatibility to the existing cards).

Based in Dubai in the Client’s office, he/she will report to the Project Manager for the specific project assignment.

SYSTRA has been appointed to perform project management services to manage the vendors in charge of upgrading / replacing of a Card Based Ticketing system into an Account Based Ticketing system. The Technical Lead will be responsible to supervise and verify the compliance of the systems delivered by the vendors at public transport operator level (ticket vending machines, validators etc) for several transportation systems (bus, metro, tram etc).

 

  • Supervise the delivery of the projects in technical compliance with Client’s requirements and contracts.
  • Actively contribute to successful delivery of the projects, leadership and proactiveness in supervising the vendors, identifying and prioritising the resolution of technical issues, preparing technical notes and recommendation to the client.
  • Support team and client in the definition of the migration plan.
  • Support seamless integration to overall programme implementation with the project for ABT implementation of central system.
  • Support client during tender stage for selecting vendors.
  • Review and validate technical design approach, feasibility and deliverables for projects.
  • Perform testing supervision activities as required.
  • Installation supervision
  • Support Take Over Certification preparation.
  • Perform post launch supervision activities as required
  • Support client on technical subjects (obsolescence).
  • Support the Project management team in the preparation of project status reports and technical materials for Executive review meetings.

 

PROFILE:

  • Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree is essential.
  • Professional certifications and memberships in relevant engineering associations and project management are a plus.
  • A good working background Ticketing industry in developed Countries is essential, min 10 years. Experience acquired as positions for vendors or client’s consultancy services alike.
  • Proven hand on experience of ABT and open loop projects, at design to Commissioning stages, min 5 years' experience.
  • Involvement on project for upgrading/migrating existing AFC systems is a plus (CBT to CBT, CBT to ABT).
  • Knowledge for ticketing system is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on Ticketing
  • Technical knowledge of ABT technology, and open loop, card-based ticketing, QR code.
  • Fluent in English
